TFA: Autobot Sari

Dang, a series hasn't inspired me to this much art this fast since Danny Phantom... O_o

More Transformers Animated art. I was in the middle of my last piece of the Autobots turned human when I wondered "Hey, I'm turning robots into humans, why can't I turn humans into robots?" So I decided to have a crack at Sari, the eight-year-old girl who hangs out with the Autobot crew. HOwever, I don't know if they have children on their planet or even what they'd look like, so I decided to fast forwards the clock a few years to get a teenage Sari, and transformed that version.

THIS WAS HARD TO DRAW. Drawing existing robots is a whole lot easier than designing my own. >_< And I had to make her resemble her human counterpart too. I'm still not sure I suceeded at that; the lipstick is throwing me off, but that's how the series does femmebots, so oh well. I drew about three different heads till I got one right. Thank goodness that most my art happens in the digital stage.
Like with all my cartoon art, I used screenshots to get the colors down; here I used her hair color for her main color, and her dress for her subcolor. I tried using her eye color too, but then she looked like a Decepticon. O_o So I went with the usual Autobot electric blue.
I based her design off the ferrari at the bottom; that's what she turns into. Sari...ferrari...you get the idea. I made her face roundish to reflect her human self, and even managed pigtails. In a way. You know how HARD it is to make robotic pigtails?? Even the part of her hair that falls in front of her face was incorperated. I went for a constant "scoop" feel to the design, because ferraries have a lot of those. I used a darker Autobot skin tone because her own skin tone is dark.
Her form is slightly more roundish than usual for an autobot. This was done because ferraries are sleek cars (which is why they rock), and also because it reflects her organic origins better.
I forgot to slap an Autobot symbol on her. >>_<< Uh...its on her right armband right now, but I may end up copy-pasting one to her left shoulder; we'll see.

One of these days I'll draw her as she is in the show. Sari's one of my favorite characters; she's loads of fun for a kid.

EDIT: Uh, just realized I don't have a power for her. O_o Any ideas? Something that could go with her auto form, if that's possible.
EDIT 2: OK, so suggested that Sari has healing powers, which means she's smart and I'm stupid as that was the perfect thing for her, lol. Of course she'd have healing powers! Maybe she incorperates her key into her own design somehow. This could also allow her hacking abilities with regular computers. So now she's a healer/hacker. She probably got some combat training so she can defend herself, but she still doesn't have an offensive weapon/ability, so that'll balance her out as a character. ^_^ Besides, I can see both healing and hacking in her personality.

EDIT 3: If you've seen the Season One finale ep "Megatron Rising" part II AND the season two first ep, "The Elite Guard", then you'll know what I mean when I ask this: WHAT the HECK IS SARI?!? And why, when she was trying to talk to the AllSpark, did the thing flash a DNA helix surrounding a spark at her? And what was her father trying to say?? GAAH!! I have my suspicions, but I don't want to spoil things any more than I have already...

CONFOUND IT! Why do I have to be so psychic? Have you all seen season three's "Transwarp"? I admit defeat; the writers' Autobot Sari is WAY COOLER than mine! Probably why I had to do fanart of the real thing, lol (see gallery).
But seriously...WHERE did Protoform Sari come from? And am I really the only one who noticed that her pre-autobot form has eyes that are a muted kind of RED? O_O (sneaks off to do prelim sketches of a Decepticon Sari)

OH, this is also an add on after the while series is done, but...she DID get hacker power. XD
