Airbender Aang

I LOVE THIS SHOW!
There's no other way around it. "Avatar: the Last Airbender" has got to be the best cartoon ever produced by America. And it's by Nickelodeon of all groups! I didn't think they'd ever learn to draw! The art style is gorgeous, the animation is top-notch, the writing is wonderful, the comedic timing is great, the voice acting is perfect, the characters are fun, the plot rocks, the worldbuilding is well thought out, and the premis is just too cool. I don't see a single thing wrong with it. Ok, I do...the fact that it's not done yet, so I can't get the entirety of it. ;_; But I have now the entirety of season one (EDIT: and season two, and what's aired of season three), and it's beautiful.
Artwork is of the Avatar, the Last Airbender, or Aang...he kinda goes by all three throughout the series. Aang is by far my favorite character; he's just too fun. He's happy, energetic, optimistic, fun-loving, adventuring, and has just the right mix of innocence and mischeviousness. Frankly, for being brought up by monks, he sure doesn't act like one. But that's what makes him so fun. AND I LOVE THAT GLIDER!! That's gotta be the coolest method of personal flight ever.
I did this in my usual way...drew it up, inked it in, cleaned it up on computer, and colored/shaded by computer. I admit, the background is not me; that's a wallpaper I got from Distant Horizon ([link], a really nice Avatar fansite. But no other background seemed to work with the pic, so I figured why not a background featuring himself frozen in the ice for the 100 years that he was? I think I messed up some on the glider...not sure if it's that long, and the tail fan should be bigger. Oh well.
