Happy 75,00 pageviews! I'm early for once, instead of really late! To celebrate, I've FINALLY done the pic that people have been begging for for over a year. And it sure felt like it took that long, too...

So without further ado, its the main Decepticon gang, Humanformed!

So like, this took awhile. Mainly because every time I hit the coloring stage, I found a problem with the lineart and had to go back to it. The worst was when I realized that I had completely forgotten poor Soundwave, so I had to go back, draw him, and rearrange the whole layout to fit him in. And now some of my hard-designed and pretty cool shoes are hidden, but oh well, thems the breaks.

Seriously, doesn't it look like Starscream wears a tie? I couldn't NOT have him wear one, lol. But I love how his suit came out. Kinda futuristic and casual, and yet businesslike also. Was gonna give him bellbottoms, but these boots worked out better.

I stuck that femclone of Starscream's in as a representative of the clones, and also cause I wanted to draw another fembot. There's not enough of those, if you ask me. And she's awesome, and has a cool color scheme.

Speaking of color schemes, I kept the old one for Shockwave cause that's how he looked when I started coloring. Besides, there are WAY too many black and purple Decepticons, and I liked his traitor coloring better anyways. He also looks the most like his robot self; as a spy, I figured a leotard would work for a rapid change in outfits, and that pack of his on his back has all his various disguises. And I had to keep the clawed look; that's just awesome.

Megatron was HARD. Mainly because I've seen sooo many other great Megatrons, and coming up with my own take was challenging. I finally went with this look. He's got a military air, with a slight hint of ruggedness. The somewhat rugged look indicates a leader ousted from his homestead and who is fighting a guerilla war. I want that sword. He's got two; maybe the other isn't in there cause he's giving it to me, lol. The pose was the hardest of anyone's; I had to have my little brother pose with my own sword just to figure out what it would look like.
The more I look at him though, the more he looks like some werid mix of Magneto and Wolverene...with maybe a dash of Highlander.

I looked up a WWII officer uniform for Blitzwing, and kinda tweaked it a bit. I'd have liked it to look a little more sci-fi, but this is how it turned out. I like his hat. I went with Icy's face since its his default. I was gonna include thought bubbles with Hothead and Random, but I was overwhelmed with this pic as it was. I picutre Random as having a flushed face with a visor and jutted out jaw, and Random has no optical adjustments. Depending on what he wears depends on his personality.

Lugnut was hard; how to include his trademark single eye was a challenge. I'd already planned the eyepatch for Shockwave, so for Luggie I went with a visor that has one optic sensor in it, hence the big circle. Luggie's also a little malformed; I noticed he had kinda small legs, so I incorporated that a little. Also, he's got a bit of a hunch and huge gorilla arms. It was fun to design a character with a completely different build.

Swindle is by far my favoirte. He's one of my favorite Humanformers yet, actually. Something about cheerful salesmen makes me think of the type of salesmen who wear western gear, so I went for a bit of a cowboy look for him. And look! I can believably incorporate chaps in that outfit! ^_^ Gosh I love this character. Never would have thought I'd find a salesman character who was so much fun. But he's hilarious. I love his purple eyes too, a nice color change.

You've seen the other three before. ^_^ Only I was actually able to get the lower half of Soundwave designed, plus give him his guitar. Black Arachnia, I took some of the detail of her face markings off, cause all of it was a little overwhelming. Lockdown lost his mowhawk from his youthful years; the bald look makes him look a little older and more sophisticated...if that's possible for a bounty hunting punk like him, lol.
