As much as I've been DC superhero obsessing lately, NO THIS IS NOT SUPERMAN. Read below for identification.
SOME RELIGIOUS CONTENT BELOW. If you don't like that stuff, I certiantly won't force you to read.
Something in my gallery that's not a cartoon character? Say it isn't so! But it is. ^_^ My roommate commisioned me to do some art of her boyfriend who's leaving on a mission for our church (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints...aka Mormons, if you insist). I got to thinking of a pose, and remembered an old church photo of a missionary pulling his shirt open to reveal a superman logo (and thus show that every missionary is a hero on a quest...or something like that). I thought it would be cool to reconstruct this idea in my pic, so I stuck him in a superhero pose and voila! Super Missionary! Fighting the forces of evil with his testimony and aiding others with his charity, he's a man on a mission! You need not be a church member to benefit from his help! He'll be there for anyone he sees in need! Coming to a mission near you!
(End joke ad)
Anyways, here's my picture wishing this guy good luck on the next two years of his life. And hoping he doesn't mind me sticking this up on my site, because this is my art portfolio and everything I do goes up here. Because I don't think he'd want his face running around the internet, I stuck a copywright notice on it. THIS IS AN ACTUAL PERSON, SO PLEASE BE NICE AND DON'T STEAL. Please? This isn't like my fanart (although I get miffed when people steal those too).
Also in memoriam of the wonderful President Gordon B. Hinkley, our prophet and leader who's personal mission is now being carried out in the life beyond...
