CwaCoM Halloween

Lol, just picking through the random sketches I've been doing over the weekend as drawing exercises. Since its only a few days past Halloween, I figured I'd ink this one and stick it up. Figured some would get a laugh out of it.

So here are three cast members from "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" as characters in "The Matrix". Earl, Flint, and Sam as Morpheus, Neo, and Trinity, respectfully. This idea popped into my head a few days ago, and became even funnier when I drew it.

I figure they're dressing up for Halloween. Flint's done a little something special for the occasion, lol.

I don't think I've EVER done an ink drawing like this before, with shading and all. It was fun to try to get the different shines and textures of the three different trenchcoats. My only regret is that it's realy hard in black and white to shade a dark purple suit and still make it look like a different color, and same goes for Earl's skin tone.
The only digital tweaking was to clean it up, put in text, and add the gradient background.
