So stupid, yet so fun...

I've been wondering what the original Brainiac would think of his great-great grandson's hero-worship of his worst enemy. He probably wouldn't approve, lol.

This was done when I was bored at work. No reference, so Brainiac kinda looks like a mishmash of several incarnations of himself (comic book, Justice League cartoon, you name it), and I've drawn B5 before so he wasn't so hard from memory. And it's just a quick sketch, so it's not quite up to my usual quality. Probably took about ten minutes; fifteen tops. Maybe I'll ink it and clean it up later, but right now I'm lazy. It's going up in the gallery because I probably won't do much more with it, but if I do, I might transfer this to scraps. Because that's what it is. ^_^ Or I'll just change the file. If I do anything at all. Shutting up now.

EDIT: OK, I'd heard that the original Brainiac might make an appearance in the cartoon's comic books, but have you seen Season Two's Ep 8, "Message in a Bottle?" HE'S HERE!! And my Brainiac design is officially in error! Isn't that cool? DANG IT! T_T (*Doesn't know whether to be sad or excited*)
Oh well. Apparantly, the Brainiac within poor Brainy already knows, and has been stalker-watching what Brainy's been doing since...well, ever (makes you wish you had an emotionless psycho-bot for an ancestor who can spy on you from the darkest recesses of YOUR brain, doesn't it? -_- Now that's what I call passing on genes...). And true to what we've seen of Coluans, he's pretty "meh" about it. But that's probably because he's now getting control over his great-great grandson, and can nip this unhealthy friendship in the bud later...Brainy, you idiot, there's gonna be consequences for this soon...

But as off-canon as this is, it's still funny.

EDIT #3: This is even more funny to me now that it was Superman who pep-talked Brainy into being able to fight the Brainiac in his head. ^_^ I need to draw a sequel where Human Brainy's still toting that sign and the pieces that remain of Brainiac say something like "I hate you."
